Developers will reveal preliminary plans to zoning commissioners Tuesday night for a proposed 239-lot subdivision, known as Catalpagreen.

WAZE LLC, reportedly plans to construct mostly single-family units on more than 120 acres near U.S. 60 and Ardmore Lane, according to Ryan Libke, executive director for Triple S PLanning and Zoning. The development calls for some patio-style duplex units, he added.

Catalpagreen will lie just east of the Shelby County Public School's newly proposed campus. That project calls for construction of a new elementary, middle and high school by 2015, at a projected cost of $100 million.

Scores of notifications were sent out to neighbors of the proposed subdivision, Libke said. Triple S will hear comments from anyone concerned about the development, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stratton Community Center, at the commission's regular meeting.

The commission also plans to elect new officers Tuesday and will hear:

An amendment request and final plat plan for a section of the proposed Village at Northridge, a mixed-use development on Ky. 55.

An agricultural division for 17 acres on Mt. Eden Road.

An amended plat request between the Shelby Commerce Center and Wal-Mart for less than an acre lot on Taylorsville Road.
