Trips include two to Haiti (one with the school of nursing), two to Florida, one to New York and one to Guatemala.

Shelby County students participating are Hannah George, a freshman, with the Neply, Haiti team; and Rachel Shannon, a senior, with the New York team.

George’s team will work with an orphanage, which takes care of disabled children and finds them families within the village.

Shannon’s team will work with Urban Impact in New York, teaching lessons at the organization’s learning centers and helping in after school programs.
