Biggins honored at Birmingham-Southern
Ashley Biggins of Simpsonville is among 231 students named to the fall 2013 dean’s list at Birmingham-Southern. To earn that honor, students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Shelby student graduates from Baylor
Matthew Edward Randol of Shelbyville received a Bachelor of Science in psychology degree from Baylor University. He was among more than 780 graduates during fall commencement exercises Dec. 21 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus in Fort Worth, Texas.
Hager on dean’s list at McKendree
Michael Hager, a McKendree University junior business administration major from Shelbyville, is on the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester. To be eligible, a student must earn a grade- point average of 3.60 or higher for the term.
Shelby student on dean’s list at Hanover
Ivana Eiler, a junior classical studies major made the dean’s list at Hanover University in Indiana. She is a graduate of Shelby County High School for the fall 2013 semester and the daughter of Tom and Kyong Eiler of Shelbyville,. To qualify for the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.
Midway dean’s list
Shelby County students making the dean’s list at Midway College were Jennifer R Craig,Emory Helen MizeandJessica Lynn Voight,all ofShelbyville, and Danielle G Hawkins ofMount Eden. In order to be named to the dean's list, a student must be classified as full time and must have achieved a minimum grade-point average of 3.60 for the semester.
Varghese on Clemson dean’s list
Mariah Varghese of Simpsonville, whose major is biological sciences, has been named to the dean's list at Clemson University for the fall 2013 semester. To be named to the dean's list, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
Wakefield on dean’s list at Kentucky Christian
Devondra Wakefield has achieved the honor of being named to the dean’s list at Kentucky Christian University for the 2013 fall semester. The dean’s list is granted to full-time students who earn a grade-point average between 3.75 and 3.99. Her major is nursing and Bible. The 2013 graduate of Spencer County High School is the daughter of Charles and Rentia Wakefield of Taylorsville.
