Koroluk and Goebel at Purdue University; Bjorvik at Berklee

Shelby students participate in summer program at Purdue
Shelby County students took the first step in becoming Boilermakers by participating in the annual STAR program at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus. The participants include Andrew Koroluk and Michael Goebel, both of Simpsonville. Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR) is Purdue's program for new undergraduate students to receive academic advice and create their initial course schedule.

 

Bjorvik on dean's list at Berklee College of Music
George Bjorvik of Simpsonville has earned placement on the dean's list for the spring semester of the 2012 academic year at Berklee College of Music. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.
