Proceeds boost literacy in Shelby County
This year’s annual Bookfest, a used-book sale to promote literacy in Shelby County, was one of the most successful yet, organizers say.
“Our first year Bookfest went very well; it met our expectations, and we’re excited about planning ahead for the future,” said Kerry Johnson, publisher of The Sentinel-News.
