Birthday: Celebrating the big 1-0-0

About 100 family and friends gathered Saturday in the Simpsonville Community Center gymnasium to honor the 100th birthday of Wilma "Granny" Gordon, who has lived in Todds Point since 1936. She is known by many for her having worked at the Gleneyrie School cafeteria, the Todds Point Store and many years as a polling officer. She is the oldest member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
