A big second half from its “bigs” propelled the Shelby County girls’ basketball team past Western Hills on Tuesday night.
The Rockets rallied from a 6-point halftime deficit, outscoring the host Wolverines, 32-18, during the third and fourth quarters, on their way to a 50-42 victory in Frankfort.
“We were patient on offense and fought back,” said Shelby County assistant coach Kevin Radford, who is filling in for head coach Mike Sowers (leave of absence). “Good road win!”
