A company in Shelbyville is planning to add 10 new jobs as a result of expansion of its plant.
Bekaert Corporation, located on Isaac Shelby Drive, and established in Shelbyville in 1990, currently employs 101 full-time employees.
The company plans to add a hot-dip galvanizing line to its 260,000 square-foot plant, where it manufactures drawn steel wire products. The "hot-dip" process will provide corrosion protection for wire used in exposed environments, said in a statement released from Gov. Steve Beshear's office.
