Roy T. Bailey Jr., the baseball coach at Collins High School, was given a new court date Thursday in Shelby District Court on a felony theft charge related to an automobile sales business he owns.
Bailey, who appeared with his attorney, Mark Dean, before District Judge Linda Armstrong, was set for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 20 in district court.
Bailey had pleaded not guilty to the charge Nov. 13 before District Judge Donna Dutton, who recused herself from the case.
