Shelby-managed band

plays at Kosair event

My Band, a group of musicians based in Louisville and managed by Shelby County resident Amy Kaufman, is part of the lineup for Saturday’s Kosair Charities Fall Fest, which takes place at 10 a.m.-11 p.m. on the lawn at 982 Eastern Parkway in Louisville.

My Band, which has been seen at Cardinal Club in Simpsonville and at Metzger’s Country Store among other Shelby locations, plays a variety of original, country, blues, harmony and gospel music. “Anything but hard rock,” Kaufman said.

The group will take to the stage at 5-6:45 p.m., sandwiched between the Monarchs and J.D. Shelburne.
