ACT III is next up in downtown concert
The annual downtown Shelbyville concert series will continue at 7 p.m. June 29 at 5th and Main streets in downtown Shelbyville with ACT III performing.
Then, in July, the series will be part of the Shelbyville Horse Show Jubilee and return to two consecutive nights, with Will Husband performing at 6 p.m. on July 26 and Nobydz Bizzness at 7 on July 27.
Other shows are: Aug. 24, New Breed; Sept. 7, Hard Rock City (including car cruise).

Author Gordon at coffeehouse
Terry Gordon, author of No Storm Lasts Forever will be at Sixth and Main Coffeehouse from noon to 2 p.m. on June 29 to talk about turning tragedy into insight, and he will sign copies of his book. For more information, call 502-647-7751 or visit www.6amcoffee.com.
Art Fest added to Jubilee lineup
An inaugural Art Fest this year will join the lineup for the annual Shelbyville Horse Show Jubilee, which will be July 25-27.
The Art Fest we be on the afternoon/evening of July 27 in downtown Shelbyville, along with the downtown car show, the Street Party concert and Chalk Fest for children. Shelby County Community Theatre will offer its summer musical, South Pacific, and The Gallery is open on Main Street.
Art Fest is an opportunity for artists to show and market their works on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to reserve a space, and art will not be juried. Artists must provide their own tables, chairs and other set-ups. No electricity is available. All sales are the responsibility of the artists.

‘South Pacific’ at theater
Shelby County Community Theatre will have its production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific on July 19-21 and 26-28. The play is directed by Cyndi Powell Skellie. The theater is located at 801 Main Street in Shelbyville. For more information, call 502-633-0222.
