Air Force Airman Taylor W. Matthews graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
View MapHe completed an 8-week program and also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Matthews is the son of Kim Matthews of Shelbyville and a 2009 graduate of Shelby County High School.
