Academic winners

Shelby East Middle School’s academic team finished in third place overall at the sixth-grade showcase. The Quick Recall team placed second in the competition. Individual winners include Ezekiel Harless, second in science and third in social studies; Ben Brown, fourth in written composition; and Chase Souder, fifth in language arts, according to Billy Korfhage, academic team coach.
