Charles Roe and Mary Ann Early of Graefenburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The couple was married in 1963 by Rev. Grady Nutt at the Graefenburg Baptist Church parsonage.
Charles Roe is retired from General Electric Louisville Appliance Park. She was the former Mary Ann Pullium and is retired from Shelby County Public School System Foodservice.
They are the parents of two daughters, Cynthia Early Hulker of Graefenburg and Amy Early Knecht of Shelbyville, and grandparents to Kacey and Kaleb Hulker and Adam and Hannah Knecht.
The couple will be honored with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on July 6 in the fellowship hall at Graefenburg Christian Church, located at 5900 Louisville Road in Frankfort. All friends, neighbors and family are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
